U.S. Internet Users Give High Marks to Search Engines - Rasmussen Reports

According to a recent national poll by Rasmussen Reports, U.S. Internet users regularly turn to search engines for answers to everyday questions – and they are very pleased with the results they get.

While 66% of regular Internet users instinctively go to search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing  to answer routine questions, only 30% say they do not. Among those who regularly go online, 89% rate today’s Internet search engines as good or excellent in terms of finding the information they need. Fewer than half a percent rates the search engines they use as poor.

What does this mean for today's businesses? Your potential customers are looking for information online, and, if you can't be found quickly by the major search engines, they are going to find their information (and their products or services) from someone else. That's why search engine optimization of your website by a firm like Mary Pomerantz Advertising can be a critical component in your future success.
